Style Guide.
Planning your session can be overwhelming. Trust me, I feel the exact same way when it’s my turn in front of the camera! That’s why I created this style guide to help ease your mind.
A few quick & easy tips for styling your upcoming session.
Layers.
Layers are a great way to add texture, pattern or a pop of color. Denim, sweater, leather are all great textures to add to your look. Plus if you’re anything like me and don’t know what to do with your hands this can add some options for you!
Patterns.
You do not need to be afraid of patterns just mindful. Polkadots, florals and plaids photograph well, but just not in the same session..Ha!
One pattern for a couples session & 2-3 patterns for a family session as long as they work together is a good rule of thumb.
Colors.
Natural earth tones are a great starting point! Add in jewel tones for a pop and add some dimension. Earthy tones are always a classic look that will allow you to love your photos for years to come.
My goal is to capture who you are in this moment of time and not just the latest fashion trend.
